27 Feb Ohio Dominican Partners with City of Grove City
Ohio Dominican University (ODU) has partnered with the City of Grove City to offer its employees an opportunity to complete a wide range of business-related undergraduate or graduate degrees as well as certificate programs at a discounted rate.
ODU’s Educational Partnership Program gives corporations, government agencies and nonprofit organizations the ability to provide employees with continuing education options at the undergraduate and graduate level to help their organization foster innovation, identify and keep top talent, and provide employees with the opportunity to enhance their professional credentials.
Benefits of becoming an Educational Partnership Program member include:
- Waived application fee to ODU;
- Ability to take as many as three master’s-level courses free of charge (up to 25% savings);
- Flexible start dates;
- And an option to attend class on ODU’s campus during the evening, online, or possibly on-site at the employer’s location.
ODU’s partnership with the City of Grove City is the latest in a series of similar agreements announced over the past year in the southwest Columbus suburb. In April 2019, ODU joined Grove City’s Higher Education Investment Program to offer scholarships to eligible residents. In January 2020, ODU partnered with the Grove City Area Chamber of Commerce to provide educational benefits to its members and their employees.
“This partnership allows us to further support the educational needs and aspirations of those who live and work in this expanding community,” said ODU President Robert Gervasi, Ph.D. “Our close collaboration with city leaders has resulted in a three-pronged approach that will help to ensure individuals in Grove City have access to the resources they need to advance their education, better compete in the marketplace, and spur economic growth.”
