04 Mar Columbus College of Art & Design Seniors Named Students to Watch
Two Columbus College of Art & Design (CCAD) students have been recognized by Graphic Design USA magazine in its annual “GDUSA Students to Watch” feature.
Emily Burrows (Advertising & Graphic Design, 2020) and Liz White (Advertising & Graphic Design, 2020) were among the students who the magazine described as “ready to burst on the design scene.”
“Some are undergrads, others are graduate students, all have found personal and professional growth through their programs,” according to the magazine.
Burrows told the magazine that the best thing about attending an art and design college is that she is “surrounded by a community of faculty whose sole motivation … is to build the next generation of young designers and creative minds.”
For her part, White said that attending a larger state school for a year gave her perspective on CCAD’s community. “I appreciate the wide spectrum of personalities, the small class sizes, and feeling like I’m an important part of the academic community,” she said.
