05 Oct ‘We the Women’ Poster Series Hosted By Marietta College Art Department
The Marietta College Art Department is proud to present a poster series by We the Women on view in the Atrium Gallery on the third floor of Hermann Fine Arts Center, October 5th through November 26th.
The Art Department selected this series to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the 19th amendment, giving women the right to vote.
We the Woman is a visual initiative made up of female, female-identifying, and non-binary designers using their talents to bring awareness to the general public with a focus on women’s rights in the United States of America.
One of the posters in the exhibition features the civil rights work of the late Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg; therefore, the department elected to honor her legacy and passing by highlighting the piece.
