Cedarville University’s Master of Science in Nursing (M.S.N.) Global Public Health Nursing program is ranked second in the nation among similar programs, according to Registerednursing.org.
Jacksonville State University was the highest-ranked program, followed by Cedarville and the University of Hartford.
“Now, more than ever, it is vitally important to prepare practitioners who possess the ability to use their nursing education in delivering excellent care in a dynamic health care environment,” said Dr. Angelia Mickle, dean of Cedarville’s school of nursing and associate professor of nursing.
“Cedarville University’s Global Public Health program is flexible, 100% online and equips students with the knowledge necessary to lead in a variety of population-based health settings. Graduates from our program embrace innovation, improve patient outcomes and will serve well, while continually shedding light in a broken world.”
The ranking is based on eight key criteria, including accreditation, online options, annual tuition and fees, tenured faculty, acceptance and graduation rates.
